VPS Snaps

Plans and limits

What each plan includes and how limits are enforced.

VPS Snaps has five plans: Free, Starter, Standard, Pro, and Agency. Limits are enforced when creating new resources — you can always view your current usage in the dashboard.

What counts toward limits

  • Servers — each SSH server entry you add
  • Backup jobs — each scheduled backup job (enabled or paused)
  • Storage destinations — each storage bucket you connect
  • Team members — seats in your workspace (Pro/Agency only)

Hitting a limit

When you reach a limit, you'll see an error when trying to create a new resource. To add more, upgrade your plan from the Billing page. Existing resources are never automatically deleted when you downgrade — you'll just be prevented from adding new ones.

Retention days

Retention is enforced per backup job. VPS Snaps checks for old backup files/snapshots and deletes them automatically as part of each job run. The count is based on the timestamp in the backup filename.

Still stuck?

Open the failed run under Backup History and copy the error text out of the log — pasting that into your first message is usually the difference between one reply and four.
